Bathtub Gin describes itself as a,"....bootlegger of ideas, untaxed and unregulated." And indeed anything goes.The poems roam the interesting crevices of the poet, Normal's expansive imagination, to the impoverished deathbed of a down and out elderly lady in C.L. Vinson's, "Miss Ivy Brickworth." Dave Church has a piece ," Alice Clay Johnson on Underground/Beat Poetry", that challenges the conventional notions of beauty and soul, "...Beauty not only flower-or bird.../ beauty also"hobo of the street"/...Soul is a saxophone and a tin cup/ your last dollar in a G-string/ There is also artwork and short stories that grace these pages.This is one of the interesting, iconoclastic little zines of the vast small press. --Doug Holder, Ibbetson Street Press
